Somerset Farm Direct at
the BBC Good Food Show

 

We were delighted to have been invited as one of Rick Steins Food Heroes to exhibit at this years BBC Good Food Show, from 27th November to 1st December.

Rick was very enthusiastic about our group of local producers and used our own produce every day in his cookery demonstration. He was assisted by Roy Brett , Head Chef of the Seafood Restaurant in Padstow.

David, Isobel and Matthew headed up to Birmingham, along with Dan and Matthews cousin Marcus, and friends Jo, Mark and Henny (Dan stayed at home and looked after the farm).

 We were delighted to welcome several of our existing customers and to gain many more at our stand. By Sunday we were pretty exhausted but it had been well worth it! Now were all back to preparing orders for the Christmas Rush, roll on December 25th!
