We are pleased to be able to offer you both pheasants and partridge in season, through from late October to the end of January. Both our pheasants and partridge live a truly free range life, they roam free over our farms eating what berries they can find in the hedgerows in the autumn, and relying increasingly on a diet of corn as winter progresses. There is nothing to beat a well roasted pheasant with all the trimmings, on a cold dark winters night. There are however many different ways of cooking both pheasant and partridge, including, using them in casseroles poaching, and pot roasting. All our game is hung for 4-5 days allowing the wonderful flavours to develop fully, before being delivered fresh to your door by mail order. |
