The bespoke Food Lovers Fair held at Loseley Park Guildford Surrey on 14-16 July was our first venture into exhibiting our products and proved a wonderful success for us. Our lamb was much praised, and four celebrity cooks chose our lamb and free range duck for their cooking demonstrations. Clarissa Dickson-Wright (Two Fat Ladies) chose lamb noisettes from our dinner party box for her demonstration and, as she was camping at the showground, had some of our lambs kidneys for her usual hearty breakfast! TV celebrity chef John Torode (This Morning with Richard and Judy) has chosen our mutton for his fantastic new four floor restaurant in Smithfield, called "Smiths of Smithfield". He took some of our leg steaks from our BBQ pack to demonstrate and insisted on wearing one of our aprons whilst he cooked. |

Alistair Hendy,
Sunday Times food writer, also used our lamb for his demo and Fran Warde,
author and cookery writer used our free range duck, remarking, "These
duck are the most tender I've tasted that are kindly reared."
Valentina Harris, whose TV programmes on Italian cookery are very popular admired our lamb, and she and all the other cooks agreed to give us recipes for you to be posted on our website.

About 10,000 attended the three day event and we were delighted to welcome many of our existing customers to our stand and to meet so many new ones. On the stand we offered tastings of our lamb and mint sausages, which proved so popular that we are planning on including them in more of our boxes later in the year. |
